The news business is undergoing a data-driven revolution, as journalists use massive data sources to tell new kinds of stories in new ways. We partnered with the Google News Lab to create a documentary featuring some of the industry’s brightest stars, including Ezra Klein of Vox Media, Scott Klein of ProPublica, Mona Chalabi of FiveThirtyEight, David Leonhardt of The New York Times’ The Upshot, and Simon Rogers, former Datablog editor at The Guardian and now Data Editor at the Google News Lab.
The documentary launched at the Global Editors Network Summit in Barcelona, where it was enthusiastically received.
